Welcome to Solme (the "App"). The App is developed and provided by an independent developer, Friday ("we" or "us").

We understand how important your personal information is to you. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations — including the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China, the Data Security Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China — we take appropriate security measures to protect your personal information and keep it secure and under your control.

The App is a locally-run chat application. We do not register accounts, do not collect phone numbers, do not collect location information, do not read your contacts, and do not operate our own servers. Please read and fully understand this Privacy Policy before using the App.

If you are a minor under the age of 14, please read this Privacy Policy carefully with your parent or legal guardian, and use the App only with their consent.

II. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Solme application software (including the Android version) and related services.

Please note that the App provides a feature to "connect to third-party large language model (LLM) services." When you configure and use services provided by a third-party provider (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and providers with compatible APIs, collectively "Model Providers"), the processing of information between you and that third party is governed by that third party's privacy policy or service agreement, and we are not responsible for the actions of third parties. We recommend that you carefully read the privacy policy of the Model Provider you choose before use.

III. How We Collect and Use Your Information

The App follows the principle of "minimum necessity." Because the App has no account system and no servers of its own, we do not collect your name, phone number, ID number, location, contacts, photo gallery, or any other personally identifiable information.

Based on the App's features, the following information may be processed:

1. API keys you configure yourself

• How collected: Manually entered by you in the app's settings.
• Purpose: Used solely to make model API requests to the Model Provider you designate.
• Where stored: Only on your device (the app's private storage). It is never uploaded to or collected by us.

2. Your chat content (message text)

• How collected: Entered by you in the conversation interface.
• How processed: To provide the AI chat feature, the chat content you enter and the replies generated by the App are transmitted to the Model Provider you configured for processing (this is necessary to deliver the chat feature).
• Where stored: Chat history is stored in your device's local database. We never upload it to any server of our own.
• Special note: Features such as "proactive messages," "mood tracking," and "memory summaries" generate digests or trigger messages based on your local chat history; such processing happens on your device, and the parts that require content generation are still processed via your configured Model Provider.

3. App runtime logs and crash information (if applicable)

• If a crash-reporting third-party SDK is integrated in a future version, we will notify you prominently (e.g., via dialog) before integration and update this Policy.

We solemnly promise: the App will not collect information beyond the scope described above without your consent.

IV. Permissions Requested and How They Are Used

All permissions requested by the App serve specific features and are never enabled by default:

Beyond the permissions above, the App does not request location, microphone, camera, photo gallery, contacts, or any other permissions.

V. How We Share, Transfer, or Disclose Your Information

1. Sharing

Except in the following circumstances, we do not share your information with any third party:

• Model Providers: To provide the AI chat feature, your chat content and API requests are transmitted to the Model Provider you select and configure yourself (i.e., third-party information sharing necessary to deliver the core feature).
• As required by laws and regulations or by mandatory orders of administrative or judicial authorities.

2. Transfer

We will not transfer your information to any company, organization, or individual, except:

• With your explicit consent;
• As otherwise provided by laws and regulations.

3. Public disclosure

We will not publicly disclose your information, except as required by laws and regulations or with your explicit consent.

VI. How We Store and Protect Your Information

• Where stored: All data generated by the App (including chat history, API keys, persona files, and memory data) is stored only on your device.
• Protective measures: App data resides in the private storage space Android assigns to the app, inaccessible to other apps by default; storage uses the system's default data encryption mechanism.
• Retention period: Data persists on your device until you actively delete it or uninstall the App.
• Export feature: The App provides a data export feature. Exported files are kept by you — please store them carefully.

Special reminder: because the App runs entirely locally, please keep your device safe, and pay attention to how your chosen Model Provider handles your chat content.

VII. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The App is a local application and does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.

VIII. Your Rights

Under the Personal Information Protection Law, you enjoy the following rights. The App has no account system, and you may exercise these rights as follows:

1. Access and copy: You can view all chat history directly in the App and export and copy your data via the "export" feature.
2. Correction: You may modify or delete any chat history, persona files, and API configurations at any time.
3. Deletion: You may delete individual or all chat records in the App.
4. Withdraw consent: You may turn off the relevant permissions in system settings, or disable features such as "proactive messages" at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing completed before withdrawal.
5. Account cancellation: The App has no account system. Uninstalling the App and clearing app data constitutes cancellation, at which point all app data on the device will be deleted.
6. Complaints and reports: You may submit complaints to us or report to regulators via the contact information below.

IX. Protection of Minors

The App is intended for general users. We take the protection of minors' personal information very seriously. If you are a minor (especially a child under 14), please read this Policy with a guardian and use the App only with their consent.

If you are the guardian of a minor, please pay attention to the minor's usage and guide them to use the App appropriately. If you believe we have processed a minor's personal information without your consent, please contact us via the contact information below, and we will verify and delete the relevant information promptly.
