Welcome to Solme (the "App"). The App is developed and provided by an independent developer, Friday ("we" or "us").

Please read and fully understand this User Agreement (the "Agreement") before using the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you are deemed to have read and accepted all terms of this Agreement. If you are a minor under the age of 14, please read this Agreement with your parent or legal guardian and use the App only with their consent.

I. Description of the Service

1. The App is a locally-run AI chat application that provides conversation, companionship, and customizable persona features based on large language models (LLMs).
2. The App does not operate its own servers. You must configure the API key of a third-party large language model provider (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or providers with compatible APIs, collectively "Model Providers") before you can use the App's chat features.
3. The App's proactive messages, mood tracking, memory summaries, and similar features run on data stored locally on your device; the parts that require content generation are processed via the Model Provider you configure.

II. Accounts and Devices

1. The App has no account system; no registration is required.
2. You should keep your device and the API keys you configure in the App safe. Losses caused by key leakage, data loss, or other issues attributable to you are your own responsibility.

III. User Conduct

When using the App, you promise to abide by the following rules and not to use the App for any illegal or improper purposes, including but not limited to:

1. Entering, generating, or spreading content that violates the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, including but not limited to information endangering national security, inciting subversion, pornographic or vulgar content, violence or terror, gambling or fraud, insult or defamation, or infringing on others' lawful rights and interests;
2. Using the App to carry out any form of illegal or criminal activity, or to assist such activities;
3. Maliciously attacking, interfering with, or disrupting the normal operation of the App or the third-party services it connects to;
4. Using the App to mass-generate or spread spam or otherwise abuse the service;
5. Infringing on others' intellectual property, trade secrets, personal privacy, or other lawful rights and interests;
6. Any other conduct that violates laws, regulations, public order, or good morals, or that harms the interests of others.

If you violate the above rules, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the service provided to you and to pursue legal liability.

IV. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

1. Text, summaries, and other content generated by large language models within the App ("AI-Generated Content") is produced automatically by the model, for reference only, and does not represent our views or positions.
2. AI-Generated Content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading (the "hallucination" phenomenon). Please treat it rationally and do not rely on it as a basis for decisions in medicine, law, finance, investment, safety, or any other professional field. You assume the risks and consequences of any decisions made based on AI-Generated Content.
3. The App's "companionship" and "virtual friend/partner" features are for entertainment purposes. AI is not a real person — please understand the difference between virtual relationships and real social interaction, and use the App rationally.
4. Emotional companionship safety notice: The App cannot replace real-world relationships, nor can it provide professional psychological counseling or medical advice. If you are experiencing low mood, anxiety, depression, or other psychological distress, please talk to your family or friends, or seek help from professional psychological support services.
5. We are not liable for disputes or losses arising from AI-Generated Content, except where caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

V. Third-Party Services

1. The App's chat features depend on the Model Provider you choose. Your service relationship and information processing with the Model Provider are governed by that provider's privacy policy and service agreement; we are not responsible for any conduct, content, or service quality of Model Providers.
2. Model Providers may change or discontinue services due to policy, pricing, technical, or other reasons. We ask for your understanding that we cannot be held responsible for resulting unavailability of or changes to chat features.

VI. Intellectual Property

1. The intellectual property rights of the App's software, interface design, logos, and related source code belong to us and are protected by law. Without our written permission, you may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or crack the App, or distribute, copy, or modify it in any form.
2. The API keys, persona files, chat records, memory data, and other content you enter while using the App belong to you. You grant us permission to process such content solely within the App for the purpose of delivering its features.
3. Model Providers may retain rights over the content they generate, subject to those providers' terms.

VII. Changes, Suspension, and Termination of the Service

1. The App is currently free of charge (API usage fees are borne by you). We reserve the right to adjust or change the service content or fee standards based on actual circumstances; changes will be announced in advance through in-app notifications or similar means.
2. We may suspend or interrupt the service due to technical upgrades, maintenance, force majeure, or other reasons, and you agree that we are not liable for such interruptions.
3. You may uninstall the App at any time to terminate use; after uninstalling and clearing app data, all local data in the App will be deleted.

VIII. Disclaimers

1. The App is provided "as is." We make no express or implied warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or security of the App.
2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from the use of or inability to use the App (including but not limited to data loss and loss of profits), except where caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
3. You are responsible for backing up your own data. Although the App stores data locally on your device, device damage, loss, or system failure may still make data unrecoverable; such risks are borne by you.

IX. Protection of Minors

1. The App is intended for general users and is not specifically directed at minors. Minors (especially children under 14) must obtain consent from a guardian before using the App.
2. Guardians should guide minors to use the App appropriately, manage their usage time, and pay attention to the impact of AI conversations on minors. We recommend that guardians enable the system's parental controls or screen-time limits for minors.

X. Changes to This Agreement

We may revise this Agreement from time to time according to changes in laws, regulations, or features. The revised Agreement will be published prominently in the App and takes effect the next time you open the App. If you do not accept the revised Agreement, you should stop using the App.

XI. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

1. The formation, performance, interpretation, and dispute resolution of this Agreement are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
2. Disputes arising from or relating to this Agreement should first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring a lawsuit before a people's court with jurisdiction.
